Sufra is a restaurant-technology product operated in Egypt by Labidzs General Contracting (legal name in Egypt: لابيدزس للمقاولات العامة). Unless a market-specific notice identifies a different contracting entity, Labidzs General Contracting is the operator and contracting party for Sufra services. By using the service, creating an account or accepting a commercial offer, the user and restaurant agree to these Terms to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.
1. Service scope and operator
Sufra provides software for restaurants, cafés and similar businesses. Depending on plan and market, features may include menus, ordering, POS, kitchen workflows, inventory, reporting, accounting, loyalty, messaging, integrations and AI-assisted tools. Features, payment providers and fiscal capabilities may differ by country, plan and regulatory readiness.
2. Sufra is a technology provider, not the restaurant
The restaurant is responsible for its food, service, prices, menu, allergens, ingredients, licences, taxes, workforce and customer relationship. Sufra does not sell food on the restaurant's behalf, does not become the employer of restaurant staff and does not guarantee food quality or safety. Payment gateways, delivery companies and messaging providers are independent services unless expressly stated otherwise.
3. Accounts, authority and security
- The first approved restaurant account is treated as the owner account; the owner is responsible for adding managers and staff and assigning permissions.
- Permissions recorded on Sufra servers are authoritative. A user's or AI model's statement that the user is an owner does not change the server-side role.
- Users must protect passwords, PINs, sessions and devices and must not share access with unauthorised persons.
- Sufra may require additional verification or disable a session, token or connection where there is a reasonable security or misuse concern.
4. Restaurant obligations
The restaurant must provide accurate and current business, pricing, tax, menu and branch information; obtain required licences and consents; and comply with applicable consumer, tax, employment, food-safety, privacy and marketing laws in its operating market. In Egypt, mandatory rights under Egyptian law remain applicable, including Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 where relevant, and are not waived by these Terms.
5. Plans, pricing, billing and payments
- Plans and prices are market- and account-specific; Sufra is not required to publish one universal cross-country public price list.
- Currency, tax, payment-processing, messaging and other third-party charges may vary by market and provider.
- Sufra may suspend, downgrade or stop renewal of paid features for non-payment or expiry, subject to mandatory legal obligations.
- The restaurant remains responsible for its tax details and invoices issued in its name unless the parties agree otherwise in writing.
6. Third-party services
Sufra may integrate with hosting, payment, messaging, maps, AI and other providers, including Meta/WhatsApp, OpenAI/ChatGPT and local or international payment processors. Those services are subject to their own terms, availability and policies and may change or stop outside Sufra's reasonable control. Sufra is not liable for a third-party outage outside its reasonable control, although it aims to expose failures clearly rather than conceal them.
7. AI and ChatGPT connections
- Connections are optional and depend on Sufra authentication and the user's current permissions.
- The public MCP URL is not a secret and does not by itself grant access to any restaurant.
- Some tools are read-only and some may perform limited operational changes; Sufra re-checks the current role server-side for each tool call.
- AI output may be inaccurate or incomplete. It is operational assistance, not independent legal, tax, accounting, food-safety or other professional advice.
- The user and restaurant remain responsible for reviewing material decisions before acting on them.
8. Restaurant content and data
The restaurant retains its rights in its brand, menu, images and content that it owns. The restaurant grants Sufra a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, technically copy, process and display that content only as needed to provide the service, backups, search, security and integrations enabled by the restaurant. The restaurant represents that it has the rights needed to upload and use its content.
9. Acceptable use
Users may not attempt unauthorised access, bypass tenant isolation, extract credentials or secrets, evade plan limits, reverse-engineer protected parts except where law expressly permits, disrupt the service, upload malware, use messaging for spam or fraud, process third-party data without a lawful basis, or use Sufra for unlawful activity or infringement of another person's rights.
10. Changes, beta features and availability
Sufra may develop, modify, replace or discontinue features, especially beta features or functionality dependent on a provider or regulatory requirement. Continuous, error-free availability is not guaranteed. Scheduled or emergency maintenance, delays or temporary unavailability may occur. A specific service-level commitment applies only if expressly stated in a written agreement.
11. Suspension and termination
Sufra may restrict, suspend or terminate access for non-payment, misuse, attempted intrusion, security risk, a competent authority request, breach of these Terms, or where reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform. The restaurant may stop using the service in accordance with its plan or agreement. After termination, records, invoices and backups may be retained for legal, accounting or security periods and then deleted or anonymised in accordance with the Privacy Policy.
12. Intellectual property and trademarks
Sufra, Almasar Alzaky, the software, interfaces, designs, original text, databases and materials created by or licensed to the operator are protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. The user receives a limited right to use the service while the account is active, not ownership of the platform. Protected brands or platform elements may not be copied, resold or used to create derivative products without written permission except where law expressly permits.
13. Confidentiality and credentials
Each party must protect non-public information received from the other and use it only for the relationship. Confidentiality does not cover information that is public, lawfully obtained from a third party or required to be disclosed by law. The restaurant is responsible for controlling staff access and devices used by its team.
14. Disclaimer of warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Sufra does not warrant that every feature will meet a restaurant's specific purpose, that every external integration will remain available or that every automated output will be accurate. This does not affect any warranty or right that cannot lawfully be excluded.
15. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Labidzs General Contracting and Sufra are not liable for lost profits, revenue, reputation, indirect data loss, consequential or punitive loss, or loss caused primarily by a third-party provider or by a restaurant decision based on automated output without appropriate review. For direct contractual claims relating to the service, aggregate liability is limited, to the extent legally permitted, to the fees actually paid by the restaurant for the affected service during the six months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. This cap does not apply where liability cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
16. Restaurant indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, the restaurant will indemnify Labidzs General Contracting against reasonable third-party claims and costs arising from restaurant-provided content, food or services supplied to customers, the restaurant's breach of law or third-party rights, or unauthorised or prohibited use by its staff, except to the extent the claim results directly from the operator's gross fault or unlawful conduct.
17. Force majeure
Neither party is responsible for delay or failure caused by events outside its reasonable control, such as widespread telecommunications or power outages, natural disasters, war, civil disturbance, government action, major cyberattacks or public-infrastructure failures, provided the affected party uses reasonable efforts to reduce the impact and resume performance.
18. No partnership or agency
These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, franchise or employment relationship between Sufra and the restaurant or its staff. Each party remains independent and responsible for its own obligations.
19. Governing law and courts
Unless mandatory law requires otherwise, the relationship with the Egyptian operator is governed by Egyptian law and disputes are subject to the competent courts of Cairo. If a user has mandatory consumer rights or local law requires a different venue, those mandatory rights and jurisdiction rules remain unaffected.
20. Language and priority
Arabic, English, Italian, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Russian, Chinese and Japanese versions are provided for accessibility. For a relationship centred in Egypt, the Arabic version controls in the event of a material inconsistency between translations unless mandatory law or a written agreement requires otherwise. The brand names “Sufra” and “Almasar Alzaky” are not transferred or licensed merely because translated text is displayed.
21. General terms
If one provision is invalid, the remainder stays effective to the fullest extent possible. Failure to enforce a right immediately is not a waiver. The operator may assign the agreement to a legal successor, affiliate or purchaser of the business subject to legally required notice; the restaurant may not transfer its account or agreement without consent unless its commercial agreement allows it. Sufra may update these Terms for operational, security or legal reasons, with the revised version and date shown here and additional notice where law requires or the change is material.
22. Contact
For support, legal questions or dispute notices: support@sufraup.com. Do not send passwords, PINs, access tokens, refresh tokens or payment-provider secrets by email.
23. Market requirements
These are general market requirements, not certification of a restaurant. Each business determines item tax classifications, registration and required licences. No VAT does not mean no corporate tax, customs duties or other levies.

24. Subscription control and leaving
Before activation, review currency, price, duration, charges, taxes and renewal in the accepted offer. A free trial is not a permanently free subscription. Paid charging or renewal requires the offer and any required authorisation. Contact billing@sufraup.com to stop renewal or discuss refunds; mandatory rights and the agreed offer prevail over a general rule.
25. Data and records after account closure
Request available data exports before closing the account. Certain records may be retained for legal or security obligations under the Privacy Policy; cancellation does not erase legally required invoices. Material terms changes require notice under applicable law; urgent security action may precede notice.
